Our Oasis camps buzz with energy, motion, and noise! These campers are ready to hit the ground running just as soon as they arrive at Pine Ridge, and our staff will be ready to run right alongside of them while doing crazy games and fun activities. Possible Oasis Camp activities include: hiking, crafts, group games, snack shack, basketball, go Karts, tetherball, petting farm, 4 square, gaga ball, playground time, swimming, waterfront activities, and chapel.
The Oasis camper will be challenged spiritually to take personal ownership of their faith as they learn how to study God's word and apply it into their own life.
Oasis campers stay in our Oasis cabins which offer a bunk bed and attached restroom. For a few hours each afternoon, campers are given “organized free time” which allows them to independently choose from several options. This allows campers from different cabins to meet, make more friends, and build a camp wide community.
Several Oasis camp sessions offer Horsemanship for students entering 4th grade or older. Campers will enjoy a daily trail ride, while also deepening their understandings of both horse and rider safety. Daily instruction will focus on emergency equine care, independent saddling and bridling, and well as equitation.
Steppin’ Up Camp:
Our Ridge Camp area is rustic, but really cool. Pine Ridge developed our Steppin' Up camp, specifically designed for grades 5-7, as an introductory camp experience to our Jr. High programs. This program allows Oasis campers to spend a week living on the Ridge, playing new games, and getting a taste of new activities that they can look forward to in future camp seasons at Pine Ridge.
