Add-On Activity Options At Pine Ridge

At Pine Ridge we pride ourselves on creating quality experiences using a variety of creative and fun activity options. These options allow each camper to create a new and unique camp week each and every summer!

To help you understand what each program activity is and how they work we have included a brief description of each option below. For a better idea of when each activity option is offered and the additional cost associated please check out our full summer schedule here.

Horsemanship(Offered for Oasis & Ridge Programs):

This program is one of most popular programs so if you are interested be sure to register early on to ensure you have spot as space is limited. IN this program campers will be walked through a series of 60-90 minute classes that will teach them about horses and basic equestrian. Campers will get to choose their horse, take care of it, learn to saddle and ride it throughout the week. All equipment is included, but we do ask campers to bring their own boots/good riding shoes and extra long pants to ride in. No prior riding experience is required. Please contact our office with any additional questions regarding this program.

This program is offered to campers entering 4th grade and above.

NEW! Emphasis Programs (At this time available for Jr. High Camps Only):

Our new emphasis programs will be real-world focused and activities that campers could ultimately develop as vocations or hobbies away from a camp setting. Our goal is to offer unique programs that speak to each individual camper’s personality and interests and cultivating that God given passion. Each emphasis will be 5 1-hour classes taught by professionals in that field and will pair educational instruction with practical application. These programs will "emphasize" the real world applications and help campers explore their growing interests that they can continue growing in throughout their lives.

These programs will be offered during our normal Jr. High Classic Camp weeks (see summer schedule for exact dates and costs). This summer we will offer Emphasis in Photography, Art, and Culinary Arts (See Jr. High Page for full details)

This program is offered to campers entering 6th to 9th grades.
