Pine Ridge is sustained by stakeholders that pray and give! We are so thankful for partners that are generous in recognition of Christ's generosity to all.
The Pine Ridge ministry operates on a budget developed out of 60% donations and 40% fee income. It is our strong desire to keep our fees as low as feasible so that families can send one or all of their children to summer camp.
Donations of all sizes are welcome and appreciated. Pine Ridge has donors who give $5 a month and many others who give in larger amounts.
All gifts are tax deductible as Pine Ridge is a non-profit, 501(c)3.
Currently, there are two families that are missionaries to Pine Ridge. Both the Grifhorst and Hinken families depend on the faithful gifts of churches and friends for financial support.
Many of our capital projects and large purchases for facilities, equipment, and activities are only accomplished through gifts. To understand some of our current needs and hopes, please check out our Needs & Wish List Page.
Non-cash gifts are also welcome and very beneficial to enhancing Christ's ministry at Pine Ridge. These gifts might include land, houses, vehicles, stock, building materials, or sports equipment. These gifts can be receipted as gifts-in-kind and are recorded at the fair market value as determined by the donor.
Pine Ridge also has an account with the National Christian Foundation West Michigan. Utilizing their expertise, Pine Ridge is able to process assets, stock, annuity and other complex gifts.
Over the years, some of the larger donations to Pine Ridge have come through estates. These larger gifts are often used for capital purchases and building projects.
The Camp also has a few fundraising opportunities through local business offerings including purchases made through SmileAmazon and SpartanNash stores.
If you have any questions on any of these matters, please contact our Executive Director, Kevin Grifhorst. Kevin would love the opportunity to meet with you to share of the life-impacting opportunities to make a difference through the Pine Ridge ministry.
