Can a parent visit a camper?

Yes. However, visits are generally discouraged as it can create homesickness (read this article to learn more) and be a disruption to the camp activities. If it is deemed critical to visit, please call in advance to make the arrangements with our office and so that we can arrange for the camper to be pulled out of the activity that is happening when the visit happens.

Most camp sessions will conclude on the last day in the following manner (please check confirmation letter for any exceptions to this schedule).

Check out tables are open from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. For security of the campers being picked up, photo identification is required to match the pick-up name that Pine Ridge gathers on check-in day. Please bring photo I.D.

At 9:45 am there will be an optional parents meeting. This meeting will cover highlights of the week and information on other Pine Ridge news. Coffee and sweet rolls will be provided for parents attending the meeting.

At 10:00 am the final awards and camp week videos will be shown at chapel.  Parents are invited and encouraged to attend this.

Final dismissal of campers is at 10:30 am.
